About the Job
A Clinical Scheduling Specialist coordinates schedules between employees and patients. Works with the clinical team to ensure patients are scheduled based on need and physician ordered frequency. Reviews staff schedules on a daily basis and notifies the clinical manager of scheduling volume concerns. Provides administrative support functions as needed by the clinical teams.
High school graduate or GED; Experience in the medical field and/or office administration preferred. At least one year of scheduling experience preferably in a Home Health Care setting.
Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills including telephone etiquette. Ability to multitask; Ability to accept direction and supervision. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Clerical skills including typing, filing, scanning, copying and faxing. Possesses a high regard for and attention to detail and organization. Must be a Team Player. Is dependable, punctual and has a positive work attitude.
